Watchdog: Telmex to benefit from wholesale unit

The Mexican telecoms regulator believes that its order for dominant player Telmex to create a separate fixed line unit to unbundle last mile infrastructure will benefit the company in the long term, providing more clients and income to reinvest in upgrading its network.
