UK-based Cable & Wireless Communications (C&W Communications) is a full-service telecommunications business. Headquartered in London with an operational hub in Florida, the company operates through four brands in Latin America. Its communications provider LIME in the Caribbean, except in Bahamas, where it controls BTC; Más Móvil in Panama, and Cable and Wireless Seychelles on the African island nation. Its services include mobile, broadband and domestic and international fixed line in most of its markets, as well as pay TV, datacenter and hosting, carrier and managed service solutions. Its end-users are consumers, small and medium-sized enterprises, corporate customers (including other carriers) and governments. The company is the result of the 2010 demerger of Cable & Wireless into two independent listed companies, Cable & Wireless Communications and Cable & Wireless Worldwide. In 2014, C&W Communications followed the US$445mn sale of Compagnie Monégasque de Communication S.A.M (CMC) with the acquisition of Columbus International Inc for US$1.85bn further cementing its presence in the Latin American and the Caribbean.
