Brazil's BRK Ambiental Goiás S.A. is the local unit of BRK Ambiental in the state of Goiás. In 2013, the company was granted a concession contract by mixed-ownership company Saneamento de Goiás S.A. (Saneago) for the operation and maintenance of the wastewater network in the cities of Aparecida de Goiânia, Jataí, Rio Verde and Trindade. Pursuant to the contract, BRK Ambiental Goiás must invest approximately US$308.6mn to achieve a minimum collection and treatment target of 90% of the concession area's wastewater. The project includes 2,700km of water collectors, 100km of interceptor drains, six lift stations, and three wastewater treatment stations, as well as the expansion of existing infrastructure. Originally formed as Centro-Oeste consortium and later renamed as Foz Goiás Saneamento, the company adopted its current denomination in 2017 when Brookfield Business Partners bought Odebrecht's environmental assets. A minority stake in BRK Ambiental Goiás is held by Construtora Central do Brasil (CCB).
