InfraRed Capital Partners Limited (InfraRed) is a global capital investment manager focused on real estate and infrastructure. The London-based company also has offices in Hong Kong, New York, Sydney and Seoul and is active in Mexico, Chile and Colombia. In November 2016, InfraRed signed an agreement to purchase a 50% interest in the Perimetral de Oriente de Cundinamarca project, a US$610mn road project in Colombia, in partnership with Shikun & Binui. The project is part of the 4G Public Private Partnership highway programme and comprises the financing, rehabilitation, construction and improvement of an existing toll road east of Bogotá. The company was founded in 1990 as Charterhouse Bank, acquired by HSBC in 2000, and rebranded as InfraRed in 2011 when management bought the business. Some 120 professionals manage around US$9bn of equity.
