Description

Brazil's development, industry and foreign trade ministry (FDIC) was created in 1999 as the Brazilian state agency in charge of elaborate, implement and evaluate public policies to promote competitiveness, foreign trade, investment and innovation. The Ministry is related to the Superintendence of the Manaus Free Trade Zone (SUFRAMA), the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI), the National Institute of Metrology, Qualidade e Tecnologia (INMETRO) and Brazilian development bank BNDES.
