Associação Brasileira do Alumínio

Company Detail

Description

The Brazilian Aluminum Association (Abal), founded in May 1970, joins 66 member companies, which represent 100% of primary aluminum producers. Also part of Abal are the aluminum processing companies - which represent around 80% of the Brazilian domestic consumption - consumers of aluminum products, raw material suppliers, service suppliers and traders. The association works through work committees and sector groups to develop its activities and to meet its major challenges, among which are: competitiveness, dissemination of aluminum applications and incentives to its new applications, the consolidation of the industry's economic interests as well as the representation of these interest before government agencies, and care for the institutional image and of the product "aluminum".
