Description

Norway-based InterOil Exploration & Production (Interoil E&P) is focused on 2 hydrocarbon blocks in Latin America. Its portfolio is made up of 2 production and 2 exploration licenses in Colombia; Puli C, COR-6, Altair and LLA-47, covering a total 23,000ha, in addition to a service contract with Colombian state oil company Ecopetrol. InterOil's 2015 production was approximately 1,234boe/d from Colombian licenses. In 2015, Canacol - an O&G company focused on Colombia - acquired 49% of UK-based Andes Energía Plc 51% interest in Interoil. By end of 2014 the company completed divestiture of all Peruvian assets. Headquartered in Oslo, Norway, the Company was incorporated in 2005.
