The biofuel comprised 60.75% of the central-south region's cane mix in the first half of April, up from 58.97% a year earlier, the Unica producers' association said on Thursday.
Operators would deliver 100% of output to state oil company Petroperú, which would be responsible for selling it.
The Madrid-based group is also expanding its footprint in Peru.
